About the Role
This position is a vital part of our service teams, responsible for delivering on-site support for Securitas Technology products at client locations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for all post-installation issues, ensuring application uptime and system performance. Beyond troubleshooting, you will engage in special project work, execute preventative maintenance, and perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications. Your role bridges the gap between technical complexity and client needs by producing quality documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleRespond to trouble tickets to ensure application uptime and system performance
- check_circleDiagnose and resolve application issues individually and as a team
- check_circleExecute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize application availability
- check_circleDocument all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system
- check_circlePerform routine configuration changes including user permissions and application settings
- check_circleProduce quality technical documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences
- check_circlePerform pre-deployment end-to-end testing of all upgrades and major modifications

Requirements
- verifiedHigh School diploma or equivalent
- verifiedC-5 Limited Electrical Contractor or C-6 Limited Journeyperson License
- verifiedExperience installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment
- verifiedWorking knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms
- verifiedWorking knowledge of network communications and IP addressing
- verifiedStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Nice to Have
Experience with Bosch, Silent Knight fire alarm systems. Familiarity with Simplex, Notifier, Edwards, Siemens, or other commercial fire systems. NICET certification or State Fire License. ESA Certified Alarm Technician certification. NTS Certified Service Technician certification. Certifications in enterprise grade CCTV and Access Control.
