About the Role

The Server Assistant is the heart and soul of our dining presentation and cleanliness. You will serve as a crucial link between our members and their dining experience, ensuring an attentive and pleasant atmosphere at all times. Your role involves overseeing and executing table clearing and cleanliness protocols, resetting tables, and maintaining a clean, organized service floor.

You will be the key contact for members' special requests regarding table settings, as well as preferences for heat or shade. By efficiently clearing and cleaning tables, you help reduce turnover time between parties, ensuring tables are readily available for incoming guests. Success in this role requires familiarizing yourself with menu items, specials, and having a basic knowledge of beverages and beverage service.

Work Environment & Schedule

This position is based primarily at the clubhouse and Bostwick Park locations, though locations may shift to support leadership visibility or administrative needs. The role requires a varied schedule that includes evenings, nights, and weekends. You will work as part of a supportive team that ensures coverage for time off and collaborates with the Food and Beverage Manager to determine ongoing work hours.

Performance & Growth

Server Assistants participate in the organization's Levels of Performance System. This includes a formal annual review during Q4, as well as periodic performance discussions with the Food and Beverage Manager. These discussions focus on job performance, potential graduation to higher service levels, or areas for improvement, ensuring a clear path for professional growth within the food and beverage department.
