HUB International's Risk Services Division partners with clients across manufacturing, industrial, and commercial sectors to turn property risk into a managed, insurable asset. As a Senior Property Risk Consultant based in California, you will serve as the subject matter authority on Highly Protected Risk (HPR) property. In this high-autonomy, senior individual contributor role, you will conduct engineering-level assessments, develop risk improvement strategies, and advocate for clients with the world's leading property carriers.
You will work across a diverse portfolio of accounts, including facilities exceeding $1 billion in total property value. Your technical depth, carrier relationships, and consulting instincts will directly shape client outcomes. This role is backed by the resources of one of the world's largest insurance organizations, offering a rare combination of impact, growth, and stability within a collaborative culture and entrepreneurial spirit.
Day in the Life
You will partner with clients to evaluate risks and develop solutions tailored to their needs. Your work involves conducting comprehensive property risk surveys, evaluating construction and occupancy, and assessing natural hazard exposures. You will articulate risk from site-level observations and modeling technology, preparing detailed reports for carrier submission and client executive review. As the technical liaison between clients and major property carriers, you will advocate for favorable risk recognition and negotiate timelines and outcomes. You will also build trusted, long-term advisory relationships with client risk managers and operations leaders, developing strategic, customized risk control service plans. Additionally, you will support business development by articulating the value of property risk consulting to prospective clients and participating in prospect presentations.
Travel
This role requires an estimated 25-30% overnight travel across California and the broader region.
We are looking for individuals who believe in the power of innovation, collaboration, and transformation. If you thrive in a supportive, client-focused work environment and are eager to help build and drive change in a rapidly growing organization, we invite you to join our community of learners and doers.
