About the Role

The CFO Advisory, Accounting Advisory GPS Team (Government & Public Sector / State & Local) is growing, and we are looking for talented individuals to join us as a Staff Associate. In this role, you will help clients protect and enhance the value of their organizations by leveraging their system of internal controls to enable growth, manage risk, and define sustainable operations.

Your days will focus on supporting governmental accounting advisory engagements by delivering timely and accurate accounting and financial reporting support. A significant portion of your work will center on solving a government's accounting and financial reporting challenges, whether through the implementation of new standards or addressing staffing and event-driven needs at the state or local level. You will perform specific engagement activities under the supervision of a senior team member, participate in client discussions, and assist with drafting deliverables.
