CACI is seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team supporting the United States Fleet Forces Command (USFFC) N41 Directorate. As the primary communication architect for this strategic unit, you will serve as the voice of the Flag Officer's front office, translating complex logistics data, fleet readiness metrics, and strategic objectives into clear, authoritative, and actionable documentation.
Operating within a high-tempo environment, this role is critical for ensuring the N41 is supported with reliable, high-fidelity information. You will uphold the highest standards of accuracy and precision in all staff deliverables, ensuring that internal and external communications consistently reflect the commander's voice and intent.
In this role, you will function as a trusted advisor to the Director and Deputy Director, providing strategic communication advice and situational awareness. Your work will span three major pillars: executive correspondence, staff action management, and technical logistics documentation.
You will craft high-impact speeches, talking points, and scripts for fleet engagements and industry conferences, while managing executive-level "Ghost Emails" to maintain professional consistency across the command. Beyond writing, you will direct the administrative flow of the front office, reviewing all correspondence for policy alignment and formatting per the Navy Correspondence Manual. You will also facilitate the "Completed Staff Work" process, ensuring routing packages are thoroughly researched and coordinated before reaching Flag level.
A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to synthesizing dense logistics reports into concise Executive Summaries, Point Papers, and White Papers. You will also manage complex travel arrangements and itineraries, serving as a Defense Travel System coordinator to ensure all official engagements are fully briefed and supported.
At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do. As a valued team member, you will join a high-performing group dedicated to our customer's missions and driven by a higher purpose: ensuring the safety of our nation.
We foster an environment of trust where every employee's unique contributions are valued. You will have the autonomy to take the time you need through our flexible time off benefit and access to robust learning resources to make your ambitions a reality. Together, we advance our nation's most critical missions, build on a lengthy track record of business success, and find opportunities to break new ground in your career and our legacy.
CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other protected characteristic.
