Imagine being at the ground floor of a venture transforming one of life's biggest purchases: autos. Amazon Autos is reimagining the entire car shopping experience, and we are building a passionate team of self-starters ready to fuel our growth in a fast-growing, highly innovative startup environment. We are transforming how people discover, compare, and purchase vehicles, offering you the opportunity to join a venture in its early stages and be a key player in shaping the future of the automotive industry.
As a Senior Tech Business Development Manager, you will serve as the architect of strategic partnerships with industry-leading dealer groups. This role is your chance to shape the future of a $1.5 trillion industry. You will act as the voice of Amazon Autos, both internally and externally, championing our vision and value proposition as we transform the greater automotive marketplace.
Your entrepreneurial spirit will shine as you influence and cultivate relationships with dealer groups, driving revenue growth and expanding our vehicle selection. Leveraging deep automotive industry expertise, you will unlock opportunities for Amazon Autos, transforming data into strategic decisions. Most importantly, you will excel at building authentic relationships and creating win-win partnerships that transform how dealers think about digital retail, advertising, and customer acquisition.
Your day might begin with a video call with a major dealer group, walking them through Amazon Autos' value proposition and addressing questions about the digital retail experience. You'll leverage data analytics to demonstrate how we can expand their reach. By mid-morning, you'll be collaborating with our product team, sharing dealer feedback that directly influences our roadmap. You serve as the bridge between what dealers need and what we are building.
After lunch, you might join a webinar with a leading OEM's franchise dealer network. Over the next two days, you'll network with dealer principals, OEM executives, and industry leaders to build relationships that become tomorrow's partnerships. Between meetings, you'll analyze your pipeline, strategize with business development leaders to accelerate deals, and prepare presentations for senior leadership on quarterly growth strategies. You will move fast, making decisions with incomplete information, and embrace the startup energy.
The role culminates in closing transformative deals, such as partnering with a multi-location dealer group to secure coverage in a new region, and immediately strategizing how to replicate that success elsewhere.
We are looking for individuals with a proven track record of recruiting high-value partners, skillfully navigating objections, and closing transformative deals. If you are ready to drive change, build something extraordinary, and redefine what's possible in automotive retail, we want to hear from you. You will have the resources of Amazon behind you and the agility of a startup around you.
