The Sub-System Lead Engineer (SSLE) in Emerging New Markets (ENM) serves as an individual contributor responsible for leading the development, definition, and documentation of requirements for complex sub-systems. This role spans diverse domains, including the interface between autonomous drivers and vehicle motion platforms, as well as Battery Management Systems for non-automotive applications. Success in this position requires a growth mindset and a high level of comfort with ambiguity.
As a technical domain expert and single point of contact, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure technical specifications are well-defined and behaviors are clearly documented. You will own the development and delivery of solutions, driving cross-team efforts while providing guidance on system design, troubleshooting, and optimization throughout the development lifecycle.

Master's or PhD in Engineering. 7+ years of experience in the field of expertise. Experience or knowledge of Vehicle Motion Control or Battery Management or similarly complex safety critical systems (ISO 26262). Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., Doors, DNG, Markdown, etc.). Experience with change management tools (e.g., Jira, GIT, etc.). Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering and associated SysML Tools (e.g., Rhapsody). Experience with Agile development process. Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and Diagnostics.
