The Sub-System Lead Engineer (SSLE) in Emerging New Markets (ENM) serves as an individual contributor responsible for leading the development, definition, and documentation of requirements for diverse sub-systems. This includes critical domains such as the interface between autonomous drivers and vehicle motion platforms, as well as Battery Management Systems for non-automotive applications. Success in this position requires a growth mindset and a high level of comfort with ambiguity.
As a technical domain expert and single point of contact, the SSLE ensures technical specifications are well-defined and behaviors are clearly documented throughout the development lifecycle. The role involves driving cross-team and group efforts to own the delivery of solutions while providing guidance on system design, troubleshooting, and optimization. You will work independently with minimal guidance, acting as a resource and mentor to colleagues with less experience.

We believe that every employee must make a choice every day to drive meaningful change through our words, deeds, and culture.
