About the Role
We are launching a new Amazon Logistics Delivery Station in Minneapolis, MN, and seeking an AMZL Sr. Station Leader to spearhead this expansion. This role is pivotal in establishing the operational foundation for our delivery network in the region. You will be responsible for the overall safety, quality, performance, and customer experience of the station, managing a 24/7 environment that handles ever-rising volume and complexity.
As the leader of this new site, you will drive the vision for the station team, creating quality and lean initiatives to exceed business plans. Your day-to-day involves managing relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs), presenting operational metrics to senior leadership, and fostering a culture of engagement across all levels of the delivery station teams. You will also serve as a key liaison with business partners such as Transport & Sortation, Finance, HR, and Engineering to secure resources and support for critical projects.

Candidates selected for this role will be expected to demonstrate flexibility to work a variety of hours, including overnight, weekends, and holidays, to meet business demands. The selection process focuses on identifying leaders with a proven track record in high-pressure logistics environments who can effectively manage both salaried and hourly workforces.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience
- verifiedBachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
- verified7+ years direct management experience in logistics, fulfillment, last-mile manufacturing, engineering, production or distribution
- verifiedDegree in Engineering, Operations or related field and MBA preferred
- verifiedExperience in a startup environment
- verifiedAbility to work overnight, weekends and holidays
- verifiedExcellent communication skills including local language and English
