Join a fast-moving technology team supporting mission-critical SQL Server platforms within a growing industrial services organization. The team operates with a lean, hands-on model where strong database professionals are trusted to own solutions, troubleshoot independently, and drive improvements in how data moves across systems. This environment supports ongoing business onboarding, legacy database modernization, data integration, production performance, and future cloud migration initiatives.
This is a high-impact contract-to-hire opportunity designed for a trusted technical resource who enjoys broad SQL Server ownership and practical problem-solving. You will work in a mostly remote capacity with a required onsite presence in Charlotte, NC, approximately four days per month (typically Monday through Thursday). Occasional additional onsite collaboration may be needed for key meetings, deployments, implementations, or production-impacting projects.
In this role, you will become integral to the team's success by supporting cloud transition efforts and managing a broad SQL Server environment. The position offers the chance to shape future-state data platform improvements while ensuring the stability and efficiency of core business operations.
We are looking for candidates who bring proven success in SQL Server development, SSIS, and production database support. If you have deep hands-on capability and the ability to work independently in a lean environment, we encourage you to apply.
We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, focusing on skills, experience, and the ability to contribute to our mission-critical data platforms.
