About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to lead and develop electrical power systems for the integration of electrical and electronic equipment on aircraft. This role is critical to ensuring that designs meet rigorous requirements while maintaining cost efficiency.

You will serve as a technical leader, providing guidance, coaching, and training to junior employees. Your work will involve complex systems integration, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams. You will also manage program tasking that includes electrical load analysis, facilities documentation, vendor coordination, and supporting testing and integration activities.

The day-to-day environment is fast-paced and demanding, requiring a focus on problem resolution and process improvement. You will be expected to influence a wide range of audiences and demonstrate leadership skills to win support without a direct reporting structure. Success in this role requires the ability to work in an aircraft hangar environment, board and exit aircraft, and travel internationally to support field modifications.
