Key Responsibilities
- check_circleMaintain ASP.NET Core Web Services implementing mathematical models of sensors and weapons systems
- check_circleDesign, develop, and maintain web-based applications for MDS Ground Test scenario design
- check_circleParticipate in requirements gathering and interface directly with end-users to understand needs
- check_circleCollaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and modernize tools and processes
- check_circleApply software development best practices focusing on quality, scalability, and maintainability
- check_circleWork across the entire software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment
- check_circlePerform full-stack development tasks including SQL database, back-end services, and front-end UI components
Requirements
- verifiedActive SECRET clearance required
- verifiedBachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
- verified7-10 years of experience with full-stack development
- verifiedProficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core
- verifiedAbility to work with advanced math and physics, particularly vector mathematics
- verifiedWillingness to learn FORTRAN
- verifiedProficiency in designing, implementing, and optimizing SQL database structures and queries
- verifiedU.S. person status under ITAR/EAR (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
Nice to Have
Experience with Agile development methodologies. Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and best practices. Previous experience in the defense or aerospace industry. Passion for working on mission-critical applications in a fast-paced environment.
