We are seeking a highly motivated scientist to drive scientific contributions across synthetic molecule modalities, with a specific focus on advancing drug-conjugate programs from First-in-Human (FIH) through late-stage development. This role serves as the chemistry representative on the Drug Substance team, responsible for leading the development of conjugation chemistry and downstream unit operations that culminate in drug substance. The successful candidate will not only execute critical timelines but may also hold supervisory responsibilities, guiding the team through complex development phases.
The position is designed for a collaborative leader who will work closely with analytical and manufacturing colleagues to foster productive communications across scientific teams. You will be at the forefront of process development and characterization for new drug conjugates, translating laboratory-scale processes into scalable manufacturing solutions. Beyond technical execution, you will author and review key regulatory documents, laboratory data, and technical reports, ensuring rigorous standards are met.
This role requires active multi-disciplinary interaction with organic chemists, analytical chemists, engineers, drug product development, and program management. You will collaborate with cross-functional CMC teams to advance pre-clinical and clinical candidates, encouraging continuous improvement initiatives within the work group while adhering to corporate standards regarding code of conduct, safety, and GXP compliance.
