The Senior Retirement Plan Consultant serves as the primary technical resource and relationship manager for a portfolio of defined contribution retirement plans, primarily 401(k) and profit sharing plans. Reporting to the Director of Retirement Plan Services, this position acts as the central point of contact for clients, bridging the gap between complex regulatory requirements and practical business solutions.
You will partner with financial advisors, recordkeepers, payroll providers, and auditors to ensure operational compliance and the timely completion of annual plan requirements. The role is designed for a senior professional who can independently manage a diverse caseload, providing high-level consulting on plan design, fiduciary considerations, and regulatory developments while delivering exceptional client service.
This role sits within the Retirement Plan Administration department at Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte CPAs, P.C. The team is dedicated to supporting qualified retirement plans through rigorous administration and strategic consulting. Issues arising within the department that require broader firm-level decisions are referred to the firm's shareholders, who maintain final authority on policy and strategic direction.
Candidates selected for this position will be expected to demonstrate strong technical knowledge of ERISA and the Internal Revenue Code, alongside the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to clients and internal staff.
