UMB is more than a company; we are advisors, consultants, problem solvers, and community members dedicated to helping you make the best of every moment with a financial foundation that supports your success. We are comprised of people who care about their work, one another, and their community. At UMB, you can expect more heart, more trust, and more opportunities to build multiple careers while having your voice heard.
As a Retirement Client Advisor in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, you will serve as the primary contact for new and existing customers, generating new business opportunities while managing a defined portfolio. This role is centered on building lasting customer relationships and gaining loyalty by actively listening to and responding to client needs.
You will partner with UMB Portfolio Management and Research to understand market narratives, manager selection, and strategy decisions, effectively communicating these recommendations to clients. Your day-to-day involves meeting regularly with clients for ongoing plan and investment reviews, educating them on market conditions, regulatory changes, and tax environments that influence their decisions. Additionally, you will provide consultation to plan sponsors on developing participant education programs and facilitate the delivery of that advice.
