This position serves as a critical bridge between raw data and actionable business intelligence. The primary mission is to collect, validate, and organize complex datasets into meaningful computerized reports that meet specific customer needs. By leveraging mainframe and PC applications, the role ensures that stakeholders receive accurate, timely information to drive decision-making.
The day-to-day involves more than just report generation; it requires developing custom files and applications where existing tools fall short. You will be responsible for creating work plans that meet strict deadlines, accurately estimating completion dates, and maintaining clear communication regarding report status with both customers and management. A key part of the role is resolving technical problems related to automated systems, performing deep-dive analysis, and implementing robust test plans and solutions to ensure system reliability.
As a component of this role, you will have access to covered information, cardholder data, and other confidential customer information that must be protected at all times. All employees are required to adhere to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), the Company's Handbook of Privacy Policies and Practices, and Information Security Policy. Furthermore, compliance with the Code of Business Conduct is mandatory, including adherence to all applicable federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and company policies.
