Senior Reinsurance Analyst

About the Opportunity

Vaco by Highspring is partnering with a client to hire a Senior Reinsurance Analyst to join their team. This role is designed for a professional with strong experience in captive reinsurance to serve as the operational lead for captive reinsurance programs where the company acts as the fronting carrier.

The Role

In this position, you will be responsible for the operational lead for onboarding and maintenance of reinsurance programs. You will review and interpret reinsurance agreements to ensure accurate setup and execution of treaty terms. A key part of your day will involve coordinating with underwriting, legal, finance, and actuarial teams to support deal implementation and ongoing management.

You will also manage Captive Collateral, including calculating requirements, coordinating with brokers and reinsurers on requests, collaborating with Treasury to ensure compliance with wordings, and tracking data within the reinsurance accounting system.

Work Arrangement

This is a hybrid role requiring 1 to 2 days in the office per week.
