At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we tackle the world's most significant challenges within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) organization. We collaborate with top-tier Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions for seemingly impossible problems. Our mission is to push the boundaries of Electronic Protection solutions, staying ahead of adversaries in the ever-evolving landscape of Electronic Warfare.
If you seek the challenge of a lifetime alongside the brightest minds, or a career where hard work is the fun part, the Electronic Protection team is the place for you. Here, life-long learning is the norm, and we are driven by the cat-and-mouse game of modern defense.
As a Senior Systems Engineer – Radar Electronic Protection, you will join a team of systems engineers and sensor architects dedicated to delivering quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities. You will work on a broad array of Radar products serving customers such as the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, US Army, Space Force, and international partners including Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.
Your day will involve developing models and detailed simulations to support system design evaluation, conducting data analysis to assess performance, and writing verification plans with traceability to specifications. You will support integration and test activities, investigate anomalies, and drive issues to resolution. Additionally, you will participate in landmark reviews with internal and external customers, program leadership, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams, while mentoring junior engineers and sharing knowledge of Electronic Protection concepts.
This role is for those who enjoy technical challenges that require thinking outside the box. You will thrive in a collaborative environment with motivated engineers, whether you are architecting new designs, digging into algorithm performance nuances, developing novel models, or supporting live testing of tactical systems. If you are ready to take on the complexities of an ever-evolving adversary driving new Electronic Protection designs, you are in the right place.
At Lockheed Martin, we value your unique skills and expertise. We aim to give back continuously by offering a wide variety of benefits and amenities to help employees live flexible, healthy, and fulfilling lives both at and outside of work.
Lockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
