About the Team

At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we tackle the world's most formidable challenges within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) organization. Our Electronic Protection team brings together the brightest minds across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions where none previously existed. We collaborate with top-tier Radar engineers to push the boundaries of Electronic Protection, staying ahead of adversaries in the ever-evolving landscape of Electronic Warfare.

Our team of systems engineers and sensor architects works in unison to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities to a broad array of customers. We support critical Radar products for the Missile Defense Agency, U.S. Navy, Air Force, Army, Space Force, and international partners including Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.

About the Role

As a Senior Systems Engineer – Radar Electronic Protection, you will join a team dedicated to the challenge of a lifetime. This role exists to drive innovation in Electronic Protection solutions, ensuring our customers remain secure against complex threats. You will engage in a dynamic environment where hard work is the fun part, offering opportunities for lifelong learning and professional growth.

In this position, you will develop models and detailed simulations to support system design evaluation and conduct data analysis to assess system performance. You will write verification plans and test procedures, ensuring traceability to system and software specifications. Your day-to-day will involve supporting integration and test activities, investigating discrepancies, and driving anomalies to resolution. You will also participate in landmark reviews with internal and external customers, program leadership, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams, while mentoring junior engineers and sharing your expertise in Electronic Protection concepts.

We are looking for individuals who enjoy technical challenges that require thinking outside the box. If you seek a collaborative environment with motivated engineers and like getting your hands dirty architecting new designs, this role is for you. You should be comfortable digging into the nuances of algorithm performance, developing novel models, and supporting the live testing of tactical systems. We need someone ready to take on the complexities of an ever-evolving adversary by driving new Electronic Protection designs.
