About the Team
At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we tackle the world's most significant challenges within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) organization. Our Electronic Protection team brings together the brightest Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions where none previously existed. We collaborate to push the boundaries of Electronic Protection, staying ahead of adversaries in the ever-evolving game of Electronic Warfare.
Our team of systems engineers and sensor architects works in unison to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities to a broad array of customers, including the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, US Army, Space Force, and international partners such as Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer – Radar Electronic Protection, you will join a team of motivated engineers dedicated to solving seemingly impossible problems. This role is designed for those who enjoy technical challenges that require thinking outside the box and thrive in a collaborative environment.
You will be at the forefront of architecting new designs, digging into the nuances of algorithm performance, and developing novel models. Your day-to-day will involve developing detailed simulations to support system design evaluation, conducting data analysis to assess performance, and writing verification plans with traceability to specifications. You will support integration and test activities, investigate discrepancies, and drive anomalies to resolution. Additionally, you will participate in landmark reviews with internal and external customers, program leadership, and multi-disciplinary teams, while mentoring junior engineers and sharing your knowledge of Electronic Protection concepts.
