At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we tackle the world's most formidable challenges within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) organization. Our mission is to seek innovative ideas and creative solutions for seemingly impossible problems, collaborating with top-tier Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites. Our Electronic Protection team consists of systems engineers and sensor architects working in unison to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities. We support a broad array of Radar products for major customers, including the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, US Army, Space Force, and international partners such as Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer – Radar Electronic Protection, you will join a team of the brightest minds to drive the future of Electronic Warfare. This role is designed for those who enjoy technical challenges that require thinking outside the box and thrive in a collaborative environment with motivated engineers.
In this position, you will architect new designs, analyze algorithm nuances, and develop novel models. Your day-to-day involves developing detailed simulations to support system design evaluation, conducting data analysis to assess performance, and writing verification plans with traceability to specifications. You will support integration and test activities, investigate discrepancies, and drive technical issues to resolution. Additionally, you will participate in landmark reviews with internal and external customers, program leadership, and multi-disciplinary teams, while mentoring junior engineers and sharing your expertise in Electronic Protection concepts.
