At Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), we tackle the world's most challenging problems within the Integrated Warfare Systems & Sensors (IWSS) organization. Our Electronic Protection team collaborates with top-tier Radar engineers across our Moorestown, NJ, and Syracuse, NY sites to invent solutions where none previously existed. We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of Electronic Protection to stay ahead of adversaries in the evolving landscape of Electronic Warfare.
Our team of systems engineers and sensor architects works together to deliver quality designs and cutting-edge capabilities to a broad array of customers, including the Missile Defense Agency, US Navy, Air Force, US Army, Space Force, and international partners such as Japan, Canada, Spain, Norway, Australia, and the UK.
About the Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer – Radar Electronic Protection, you will join a team of the brightest minds to drive innovation in Electronic Protection. This role is designed for those who seek a lifetime of challenge and a career where hard work is the fun part. You will engage in a collaborative environment, architecting new designs, analyzing algorithm nuances, developing novel models, and supporting the live testing of tactical systems.
Your day-to-day will involve developing models and detailed simulations to support system design evaluation, conducting data analysis to assess performance, and writing verification plans with traceability to specifications. You will support integration and test activities, investigate discrepancies, and drive technical issues to resolution. Additionally, you will participate in landmark reviews with internal and external customers, program leadership, and multi-disciplinary teams, while mentoring junior engineers and sharing your expertise in Electronic Protection concepts.
