The Senior Quality Technician serves as a critical guardian of product integrity within our Johnson Creek, WI machine shop. In this 1st shift role (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday), you will be the bridge between engineering specifications and physical production. Your mission is to ensure every machined part meets rigorous standards through precise inspection, testing, and data-driven analysis.
You will spend your day on the production floor, collaborating directly with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues in real-time. From conducting first-piece and final inspections to managing non-conforming materials, your work ensures that our customers receive defect-free components. This position offers a dynamic environment where attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential for maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Associate degree in a technical field (machine tool technology, engineering technology, or quality assurance). Experience with CMM programming (e.g., Zeiss, Keyence, Mitutoyo). Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and quality management software. 1-3+ years working on or with CNC machines and robotic cells. Understanding of ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, Statistical Process Control (SPC), AIAG, APQP, PPAPs, Gage R&R, and capability testing. Strong mechanical understanding of parts and assembly, including the ability to assess, disassemble, and reassemble precision instruments.
Skills: Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Optical Compactors, Coordinate Measuring Machines, CMM, Blueprint Reading, GD&T, First Article Inspection, Ppap.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a technical field highly preferred.
