We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to assume a key leadership role within our growing Transportation and Traffic Engineering design team in our Charleston, SC office. This position is designed for a candidate who thrives in a collaborative environment and is ready to manage complex transportation projects while leading a team of traffic engineering and design professionals. You will serve as a bridge between technical execution and client expectations, developing strong relationships with state DOTs and local agencies.
In this role, you will lead the conceptual design and operations studies for a wide range of transportation projects. Your day-to-day involves providing technical guidance and mentoring to engineering staff, ensuring high-quality QA/QC of plans and construction specifications, and leading field visits and data collection efforts. You will be instrumental in preparing technical documentation and reports, while staying current with industry standards and engaging with organizations such as ACEC-SC, ASHE-SC, APWA, and SCITE.

Experience with VISSIM, TransModeler, GuideSIGN, and SimTraffic 11/12. Experience with SCDOT / NCDOT specifications and procedures. IMSA Traffic Signal II Certification. PTOE and / or RSP.
Skills: Synchro, HCS, Transmodeler, Bentley Microstation, Openroads Designer, Guide Sign, Simtraffic, Pe License, Ptoe, RSP.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required; Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field preferred.
