The Transportation & Mobility Engineering (TME) team within DOTI is seeking a dynamic Senior Engineer to lead and support a wide range of mobility and safety work. In this role, you will make a direct impact in bettering our city by designing and reviewing safe and equitable transportation mobility improvements that benefit all residents and the traveling public.
The TME team provides traffic engineering expertise for DOTI projects, private development projects, and community stakeholders. As a Senior Engineer, you will serve as a mentor and technical leader, providing project leadership, cross-organizational coordination, and guidance on innovative Vision Zero, bicycle, transit, pedestrian, and signal/ITS projects. You will collaborate closely with staff across DOTI's Planning and Implementation teams to deliver projects that advance safety and equity for all users.

Occasional after-hours work may be required for community meetings, special event support, and field observations based on project needs.
The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position, you can expect to work on-site at least three days per week at the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Building (201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202). Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days.
