About the Role

We are seeking a Staff Engineer to join our Highway/Traffic Department in our Newark or Wall, NJ offices. In this role, you will support the design and preparation of roadway and traffic engineering plans, contributing to projects that make a real difference in people's lives. You will work collaboratively with internal team members across multiple disciplines to coordinate project execution and assist with client needs.

Your day-to-day will involve performing data collection and analysis, such as traffic counts and field observations, and preparing technical reports and calculations. You will utilize industry-standard design software to support traffic engineering studies, including traffic impact studies and signal warrant analyses. Additionally, you will support construction phase services, including shop drawing reviews and field inspections, ensuring that our solutions stand the test of time.
