About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the total and complete management of assigned jobs. This role serves as the bid captain, driving the estimate review process and ensuring constructability concerns and prefabrication opportunities are identified early. You will lead the job planning process both in the office and on the field, preparing all necessary contract documents, construction schedules, and pay applications.

As the Quality Control Manager for your assigned jobs, you will enforce safety plans, manage labor and material purchasing, and oversee the selection and approval of subcontractors. The position requires active communication with internal and external stakeholders across all phases of the job, from preconstruction through post-job reviews. You will also be responsible for preparing estimates for change-orders, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, and diligently pursuing the collection of billings to reduce retainage.

Location

This position will initially be located in Fairfax, IA, with a potential opportunity for relocation afterward.

Working Conditions

This role involves visiting jobsites where employees may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibrations, and loud noises within OSHA standards. Employees may also face outdoor conditions including inclement weather such as heat, humidity, cold, wind, and dust. The physical requirements include carrying up to 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, standing for long periods, walking moderate-to-long distances on varying surfaces, and performing tasks such as climbing, crawling, crouching, reaching, gripping, pushing, and pulling.
