As a Class B Diesel Mechanic Technician on the 3rd shift, you will play a vital role in supporting America's food distribution system. You will perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers, reefer units, and converter dollies with minimal supervision. Your work ensures that all fleet equipment remains compliant with State and Federal trucking regulations and is deemed 'roadworthy' before hitting the road.
This role is more than just repairs; it is about keeping the supply chain moving. You will interact professionally with co-workers, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. A key part of your day involves thorough documentation of all repairs and parts used daily through our online Enterprise Asset Management system. You may also be required to perform road call services as needed to address urgent issues in the field.
We are looking for candidates who are ready to start contributing from day one. Qualified applicants will be contacted for an interview to discuss their experience with medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair, including preventative maintenance, tire and wheel work, brake systems, and electrical troubleshooting.
