The Lead QA/QC Specialist serves as the main point of contact between the client and the program for quality issues, audits, and optimization efforts. In this role, you will manage all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for federal and state grant programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
You will supervise a team of QA/QC Specialists, providing oversight of daily work, developing toolkits, and driving performance management. Your day-to-day involves interpreting HUD guidance and Federal Register notices, identifying compliance risks, and advising the client and program director on quality trends. You will play a critical role in preventing fraud, waste, and abuse by utilizing technology to ensure transparency and accountability, while also assisting in responding to state and federal oversight activities.
