About the Position
Pond is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Studies to join our growing team of Energy Professionals. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of related experience and a strong interest in collaborating, innovating, and supporting complex electrical system studies across a wide range of energy markets.
In this role, you will support Pond's Power System Studies efforts for clients across the United States. Projects will span multiple markets and geographies, offering opportunities to broaden your expertise in power system analysis and design. The Senior Electrical Engineer will serve as a technical contributor and task lead, supporting and executing system studies while collaborating closely with project managers, discipline leads, and other engineers.
This position emphasizes hands-on technical work, technical mentorship, and client interaction, without formal people management responsibilities.

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- verified10+ years of experience performing power system studies
- verifiedProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- verifiedFamiliarity with Independent System Operators (ISOs) and their technical and interconnection requirements
Nice to Have
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license.
