Senior Operations Manager

About the Role

This position serves as a critical operational leader within the Inspection & Reconditioning Center, overseeing multiple reconditioning lines to ensure production metrics are consistently met. The role exists to drive efficiency and quality in a fast-paced environment, managing facilities and production planning for full working shifts. When the General Manager is not onsite, this leader assumes full responsibility for meeting targets in production, cost, and quality.

The day-to-day involves guiding daily site manager huddles to set priorities, identifying and resolving bottlenecks through root cause analysis, and conducting weekly performance reviews with Senior Reconditioning leadership. Beyond immediate operations, the role fosters growth within the Reconditioning Lead and Manager populations and executes Continuous Improvement projects across the site and region.

Working Environment

This role requires active engagement on the shop floor in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet, potentially containing fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance. The position demands physical capability to stand for extended periods, walk up to three miles daily, and lift up to 60 pounds independently. Associates must be prepared to use safety equipment, including face shields, goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, and masks.

Hiring Process & Requirements

Hiring is contingent upon passing a complete background check. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must possess a valid unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record from the last three years and be at least 18 years of age. Fluency in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) is required.
