Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will provide overall direction for the execution of department-level objectives across our PA facilities. This role is designed to lower organizational risk by identifying opportunities for improvement and initiating projects that prevent issues before they reach the customer.
In this position, you will lead and participate in quality improvement projects, internal audits, and root cause analysis to resolve customer complaints and internally discovered issues. You will be responsible for ensuring Havis's readiness for both internal and external quality audits, including ISO 9001 and 1401 certifications. Your day-to-day impact will be felt through the implementation of preventative measures using new technology or tooling, recommending design changes to improve manufacturability, and ensuring all documentation meets internal, external, and regulatory requirements.
You will serve as a key liaison between departments, effectively communicating Havis's commitment to quality while collaborating with design engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and marketing teams. From managing calibration of tools to creating and maintaining critical customer-required documents like PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans, you will ensure that our rigorous testing protocols and quality standards are consistently met.
