About the Role
We are seeking a high-ownership, security-focused Senior Network Engineer to join our Technology division. In this role, you will ensure the resilient, reliable 24/7 performance of OUC's enterprise network while supporting the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our robust, modern network infrastructure.
You will be a hands-on engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, pivots quickly when issues arise, and enjoys mentoring junior team members. Your day-to-day will involve configuring and maintaining Cisco-based networks, managing firewall and security rule sets, and troubleshooting wired and wireless issues. You will collaborate closely with our Network Architect and team lead to support projects, evaluate end-of-life equipment, and strengthen OUC's network security posture. This position offers the opportunity to guide associate-level engineers and contribute to a highly collaborative team culture.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleConfigure and install switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
- check_circleMonitor network performance and integrity using SIEM and diagnostic tools

Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in IT, CS, Engineering, MIS, or related field (or equivalent 1:1 substitution)
- verifiedMinimum 5 years progressive experience in enterprise IT network environment
- verifiedMinimum 3 years managing networks (MPLS preferred), configuring switches/routers/firewalls/load balancers
- verifiedCCNA, CCNP, or CCDP certification (preferred)

- verifiedProficiency with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), MPLS, Spanning Tree

More than 20,000 chemical and bacteriological tests are conducted annually to monitor over 135 regulated and unregulated substances, ensuring the delivery of clean and safe water to the community.
