We are seeking a Branch Security Engineer to support our financial sector clients with physical security technology across their retail bank branch locations. This is a full-time remote contract role requiring 40 hours per week on EST hours. Candidates must have experience supporting branch or multi-site environments in Banking or Retail, with a minimum of 250 sites. An immediate start is required, with availability to begin within 7 days of the offer.
The Branch Security Engineer serves as a critical link between enterprise security architecture and the physical reality of branch environments. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, operational support, and lifecycle management of physical security technologies deployed across distributed locations. Your work ensures that branch environments remain protected, resilient, and compliant with banking standards.
In this role, you will partner closely with the service delivery team to plan and execute branch technologies for our financial clients. You will provide technical oversight for new branch builds, relocations, renovations, and security technology refreshes. Your day-to-day involves coordinating with integrators, vendors, and service providers to manage installations, maintenance, and repairs. You will also develop and maintain architecture diagrams, standards documentation, and as-built records to ensure operational clarity.
When incidents occur, you will provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting for branch security outages and device failures. You will be part of an on-call rotation to respond to critical security events, alarms, or system disruptions, ensuring rapid resolution to maintain safety and operational continuity. The role requires a calm, disciplined approach to troubleshooting under time-sensitive conditions, with the ability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
This position operates within a hybrid work environment, combining office, remote, and field/branch support. You will participate in an on-call rotation that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Periodic travel to branch locations, operations centers, or vendor sites will be required to support deployments and incident response.
Candidates must be available to start immediately. The selection process prioritizes those with proven experience in the banking or retail sector managing large-scale distributed sites.
