We are seeking a Branch Security Engineer to join our service delivery team, focusing on the financial sector. This is a full-time remote contract role requiring 40 hours per week on EST hours. Candidates must have specific experience supporting branch or multi-site environments in Banking or Retail, with a minimum of 250 sites. An immediate start is required, with availability to begin within 7 days of the offer.
About the Role
The Branch Security Engineer serves as the technical backbone for physical security technology deployed across retail bank branch locations. This position is critical for ensuring branch environments remain protected, resilient, and compliant with banking standards. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, operational support, and lifecycle management of these systems, acting as the primary point of contact for incidents impacting safety, operations, or regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will partner closely with the service delivery team to plan and execute branch technologies for our financial sector clients. Your day-to-day involves providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting for system outages and device failures, coordinating with integrators and vendors for installations and maintenance, and developing architecture diagrams and as-built records. You will also play a key role in the testing and validation of security systems prior to branch openings or cutover events.
Work Environment
This position operates within a hybrid work environment, combining office, remote, and field/branch support. The role includes participation in an on-call rotation that may extend to evenings, weekends, and holidays to respond to critical branch security events. Periodic travel to branch locations, operations centers, or vendor sites will be necessary to support deployments and incident response efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

- verifiedWorking knowledge of video surveillance, alarm, access control, and duress/life-safety technologies
- verifiedFoundational networking knowledge (IP connectivity, PoE, VLANs, LAN/WAN)

Nice to Have
Experience supporting security systems in financial services or other regulated industries. Exposure to 24x7 security operations, monitoring centers, or command-center-based support models. Understanding of audit, risk management, and regulatory controls related to physical security. Experience coordinating across IT, Facilities, Security Operations, and external vendors. CCNP certification.
