The Branch Physical Security Architect is a senior leadership position designed to provide strategic direction for physical security technologies across a vast banking retail branch network. This is not a hands-on keyboard design or deployment role; rather, it serves as the principal technical authority for the engagement. You will define standards, lead multi-workstream programs, and act as the primary point of contact for the client's executive leadership.
In this capacity, you will guide engineering teams, integrators, and vendors toward consistent, compliant, and resilient security outcomes. Your focus will be on ensuring alignment with enterprise security architecture and regulatory requirements across new branch builds, renovations, technology refreshes, and large-scale security programs.
You will operate as the single authoritative voice on branch physical security architecture, working cross-functionally with the client's PMO, IT Network Engineering, Facilities, Risk & Compliance, and external partners. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to executive engagement, serving as the primary liaison to the C-Suite with regular technical briefings and status updates on a daily and weekly cadence.
Your work involves leading the Physical Security workstream within large-scale programs, defining project scope, sequencing deployments, and managing risks to ensure security deliverables align with overall program timelines. You will chair or participate in design review boards, oversee integration architecture connecting security systems with IT infrastructure, and drive the evaluation and standardization of security technologies and vendor solutions.
Candidates must be available to begin within 7 days of an offer, as an immediate start is required. This is a full-time remote contract position requiring 40 hours per week during EST hours. The initial engagement is for 6+ months, with the possibility of extension to 1–2 years.
This role demands a leader with strong executive presence who can communicate complex technical concepts to C-Suite and senior stakeholders. We are looking for a strategic thinker who connects branch-level decisions to the enterprise-wide security posture. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who builds consensus across technical teams, the PMO, facilities, and external partners.
We value individuals who remain calm and decisive under pressure, guiding teams through critical incidents without losing strategic focus. As a self-driven professional, you must be able to operate effectively with minimal oversight in a remote environment while managing multiple concurrent programs and shifting priorities with ease.
