This is a strategic leadership position for a Branch Physical Security Architect, designed to provide the end-to-end architectural direction for physical security technologies across a banking retail branch network. This is not a hands-on keyboard design or deployment role; rather, it is a senior engagement where you will serve as the principal technical authority and the primary point of contact for the client's executive leadership.
You will define standards, lead multi-workstream programs, and guide engineering teams, integrators, and vendors toward consistent, compliant, and resilient security outcomes. The role requires immediate availability to start within 7 days of an offer, with a commitment to full-time remote work (40 hours/week) during EST hours for an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension to 1–2 years.
As the single authoritative voice on branch physical security architecture, you will bridge the gap between high-level enterprise strategy and on-the-ground execution. You will work cross-functionally with the client's PMO, IT Network Engineering, Facilities, Risk & Compliance, and external partners to ensure alignment with enterprise security architecture and regulatory requirements.
Your day-to-day involves providing strategic oversight across new branch builds, renovations, technology refreshes, and large-scale security programs. You will connect branch-level decisions to the enterprise-wide security posture, ensuring that design principles and technology standards are applied bank-wide. This role demands an executive presence capable of communicating complex technical concepts to C-Suite stakeholders while maintaining a calm, decisive demeanor during critical incidents.
Candidates must be available to begin within 7 days of an offer. The engagement requires a candidate with significant experience in branch or multi-site environments (250+ sites minimum) within Banking or Retail. A PSP (Physical Security Professional) or similar certification is preferred.
