About the Role

This position sits within the National Accounts Employee Benefits Underwriting organization and is responsible for the full spectrum of risk selection, pricing, and proposal management for Group Disability and Life new business and renewals covering 2,000+ lives. You will apply standard underwriting principles to evaluate, rate, and negotiate prices while leveraging in-depth knowledge of assigned product lines to make independent decisions within established policies. The role requires balancing analytical rigor with strategic thinking to acquire and renew national account clients, manage inforce blocks for profit and persistency, and proactively recommend policy changes to meet emerging market needs.
