Join Takeda as a Senior Medical Science Liaison in Rare Immunology, a field-based, external customer-facing position dedicated to advancing medical strategy and improving patient outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Field Medical, you will serve as a critical bridge between Takeda and the healthcare community across Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee. Your mission is to analyze and disseminate complex scientific data, translate customer insights, and foster robust external expert networks to drive the company's therapeutic goals.
This role is designed for a professional who thrives on building deep, meaningful relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs). Approximately 80% of your time will be spent on external-facing activities, engaging in strategic dialogues that inform medical tactics and support Takeda-sponsored research. You will act as a scientific expert, ensuring all interactions are compliant, fair-balanced, and aligned with the broader mission of transforming patient care through novel specialty pharmaceuticals.

Dissemination of complex scientific data to healthcare audiences, relevant therapeutic area knowledge and expertise, clinical, research, and/or teaching experience, ability to work effectively in virtual and cross-functional teams, execution of activities within legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements, use of digital tools including AI to enhance productivity and improve efficiency.
