This position serves as a pivotal link between process development and physical execution. You will lead equipment specification, builds, and programming, working closely with process development teams to construct machines tailored to specific processes. The role is instrumental in integrating part movement solutions into, out of, and between new and existing equipment, while supporting the building of quality directly into the process.
In this capacity, you will manage project timelines with a strong focus on safety, process quality, qualifications, and Lean principles. You will execute hands-on development of new products and processes, ensuring successful hand-offs to production teams. Beyond technical execution, you will mentor and coach less experienced engineers, identifying and eliminating waste while leading initiatives of moderate scope and impact. The role requires a deep commitment to continuous improvement through Kaizen activities and collaboration on breakthrough initiatives.
