Key Responsibilities
- check_circleOversee all QA/QC activities ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSMA, and GFSI
- check_circleSupervise and mentor Quality Managers and quality leadership teams
- check_circleLead investigations related to deviations, escapes, or customer complaints
- check_circleAct as the primary liaison during external audits and regulatory inspections
- check_circleParticipate in site leadership meetings to provide strategic recommendations
- check_circleMonitor key quality KPIs and lead root-cause analysis initiatives for continuous improvement
- check_circleCollaborate cross-functionally with Operations, R&D, and Supply Chain on process reliability
- check_circleSupport site improvement projects ensuring compliance and on-time delivery
- check_circleManage the site's quality budget and ensure optimal resource allocation
- check_circleLead the development and execution of the plant's comprehensive quality strategy
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in food science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field
- verifiedMBA preferred
- verifiedMinimum 10 years of experience in quality management within food or manufacturing
- verifiedHACCP, SQF Practitioner, or PCQI certification required
- verifiedSix Sigma preferred
- verifiedHigh proficiency in quality management systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- verifiedAdequate knowledge of French for positions in Quebec
Nice to Have
MBA degree. Six Sigma certification.
