At RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, 185,000 great minds are united by purpose to solve the world's most complex problems. With three market-leading businesses and world-class operations, we push the boundaries of known science to connect and protect our world.
Pratt & Whitney is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems. For over 100 years, we have been revolutionizing modern flight. Join us to help shape the future of aerospace and defense.
We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Senior Manager, Process Performance and Quality Control. The Process Performance and Quality Control (PPQC) team plays a pivotal role in ensuring compliance across the pillars of Pratt & Whitney's Global Trade (GT) program. Supporting the Global Trade Requirements Management (GTRM) organization, the team develops meaningful metrics and audit processes focused on foundational areas such as export authorizations, export classifications, and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications.
In this leadership role, you will create sustainable processes that transform data insights into informed actions, mitigating risk and improving efficiency. You will work closely with GTRM pillar leads to identify areas of risk, develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and establish audit procedures that ensure the integrity of these metrics. Reporting to the Associate Director for Authorizations Management, you will play a prominent role in maturing key elements of the authorization compliance pillar, strengthening processes and developing controls that enhance visibility and compliance across the function. Additionally, you will support processes underpinning the success of the GT program, including managing Alternate Means of Compliance (AMOC) and Requests for Interpretation (RFI), while partnering with leadership to drive alignment and improved communication across the broader GTRM organization.
This position is classified as Remote. Employees in remote roles work primarily offsite from home. If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether a degree of onsite presence is associated with this role.
