We are seeking a Senior Manager, Food Safety & Quality Compliance to join our team in Oak Brook, IL. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert on applicable food safety regulations and regulatory compliance. You will lead the development and implementation of food safety and quality policies, procedures, and compliance programs aligned with federal, state, GFSI, customer, certification, and internal standards.
As a key liaison with regulatory agencies and internal business and legal teams, you will address quality and food safety compliance concerns while providing technical guidance to facility and warehouse personnel. Your day-to-day involves monitoring emerging food safety issues, recommending strategies to mitigate risks, and managing all documentation related to regulatory compliance. You will also lead improvements to our Internal Audit Assessment Program, oversee GFSI compliance, and act as the back-up recall coordinator during critical events.
