Founded in 1938, the American Academy of Dermatology (Academy) is the largest, most influential, and most representative dermatologic association in the world. With a membership of over 21,000 professionals globally, the Academy is dedicated to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nails, while advocating for high standards in clinical practice, education, and research.

As a sister organization to the Academy, the American Academy of Dermatology Association serves as the primary resource for government affairs and health policy, playing a major role in formulating policies that enhance the quality of dermatologic care. The organization is committed to supporting and enhancing patient care for a lifetime of healthier skin.

About the Role

Located in our Rosemont, IL office, this Senior Manager position serves as the scientific and methodological backbone for the development of evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. You will act as a strategic partner to volunteer physician work groups and Academy staff, guiding the rigorous process of literature review, analysis, and recommendation formulation.

In this role, you will not only manage complex project timelines and budgets but also provide methodological mentorship to your team. You will be the primary liaison to expert physician work groups, ensuring that scientific rigor is maintained while fostering a collaborative environment. Your work directly influences the standards of dermatologic care by translating complex medical literature into actionable clinical guidelines.
