The Senior Loan Operations Specialist serves as a vital member of a team managing the post-closing loan life cycle, including funding, boarding, servicing, and payoff. In this role, you will tackle more complex assignments, acting as a bridge between third parties, lending teams, and other operational departments to ensure excellent internal and external customer service.
Your day will involve processing the monetary aspects of loans, reconciling accounts, and reviewing documentation for accuracy to ensure seamless booking into core processing systems. You will also administer escrow accounts, handle payoff requests, and provide training and support to fellow specialists. As a senior team member, you will be empowered to identify and recommend process improvements, driving efficiency within the department.
