At Equitable, we help clients secure their financial well-being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives—a mission we've honed since 1859. We are America's first fully Agile financial services company, creating an environment where cross-functional, multidisciplinary teams work independently under clear strategic guidelines. By applying Agile working methods, we promote a culture where team members are actively engaged and learning every day.
We turn challenges into opportunities by thinking, working, and leading differently, where everyone is a leader. We encourage every employee to leverage their unique talents to become a force for good at Equitable and in their local communities. We are continuously investing in our people by offering growth, internal mobility, and a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
Equitable is seeking a dynamic Senior Innovation Analyst to join the Design Thinking team within the Innovation & Design Office (IDO). The mission of the IDO is to increase the metabolism of the enterprise by fundamentally changing how we think, work, and lead as an organization. This includes guiding and executing Equitable's end-to-end approach to innovation strategy and process improvement.
In this role, you will leverage Design Thinking methodologies to define and solve complex business problems as part of New Ways of Working. You will serve as a key pillar of the IDO, championing Design Thinking and Process Re-engineering throughout the organization. The position requires a leader who understands the financial services space—specifically Insurance, Retirement, and Asset Management—and is comfortable interacting with executives while working through Agile principles.
You will operate in a high-profile, dynamic environment, supporting various projects often simultaneously. Your work will involve designing and planning Design Thinking and Process Re-engineering workshops with creative and collaborative problem-solving as the priority. You will lead pre-workshop discovery sessions to outline goals and initiative approaches, and energetically facilitate collaborative workshops virtually, in-person, or hybrid.
Beyond facilitation, you will structure workshop formats and agendas, develop detailed documentation for process flows, and create training materials for Design Thinking. You will actively participate in team-building and communications while conducting discovery research to analyze quantitative and qualitative information. Your goal is to support a culture of iterative thinking, continuous learning, and innovation, synthesizing complex ideas into simple language and actionable next steps.
This position offers a hybrid work schedule, combining flexibility with team collaboration through an on-site presence of 2–3 days per week.
