As a Field Service Technician, you will serve as the technical face of IPG/Better Packages at customer locations. Your primary mission is to ensure equipment uptime and support customer production needs by performing on-site maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, combining hands-on mechanical and electrical expertise with strong customer communication skills.
You will work independently to represent IPG at various sites, managing your own schedule while delivering a high level of technical service. From executing preventive maintenance programs to diagnosing complex automation issues, your work directly impacts the reliability of our customers' operations. You will also play a key role in product development by assisting with field testing of new prototypes and providing feedback to improve future packaging equipment.
