About the Role

As an Operations Manager, you will lead a fast-paced team at our Louisville, KY location, managing operations for approximately 170 truck units. You will oversee a diverse team including Operations Supervisors, Technicians-In-Charge, Customer Service Coordinators, and various service and parts personnel. This role is essential to ensuring business objectives are met while balancing financial, operating, quality, safety, and asset targets.

You will be directly involved in the day-to-day execution of work analysis, vehicle planning, and labor optimization. Your day will involve leading shift meetings, reviewing repair orders, and ensuring the shop adheres to all Standard Operating Procedures and safety regulations. Beyond daily operations, this position serves as a developmental platform; Ryder promotes from within, allowing you to carve out your own career path toward a Senior Operations Manager role based on performance and continuous on-the-job experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleExecute quality inspections, root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • check_circleDirect asset management initiatives, including tooling, equipment, and parts inventory

Requirements
