This position serves as a critical partner to the Plant Manager, supporting the planning, organizing, and directing of all plant activities to meet production schedules and quality standards. You will be the driving force behind maintaining optimal production flow by coordinating closely with maintenance, quality, logistics, and engineering teams.
In this role, you will lead by example, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency. You will supervise, manage, and develop employees, handling performance management, coaching, and disciplinary processes in accordance with collective bargaining agreements. Your day-to-day involves monitoring production metrics to ensure targets for safety, quality, cost, and delivery are consistently achieved, while driving proactive initiatives for cost reduction and efficiency gains.
