About the Team and Role

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Procurement Field Representative to join the Renton Vendor Assistance team in Renton or Seattle, Washington. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an innovative and diverse team.

In this role, you will partner with the Senior Leadership team on program management and strategic business transformation initiatives, helping to make the company stronger, more competitive, and more resilient long-term. You will have the chance to define and lead program and project management best practices while driving business planning, decision-making, operations, and business insights throughout the Renton Vendor Assistance team.

This position is primarily on the second shift, though additional shift requirements may exist to support program objectives. The role is expected to be 100% onsite at one of the listed locations.

Hiring Process and Application

Please note that this position requires U.S. export control compliance; a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleMonitor emergent offload and overload suppliers to ensure schedule compliance and product conformity
  • check_circleEstablish and maintain priorities for deliveries to support supplier contractual corrective actions
  • check_circleCo-facilitate recovery plan development and identify training needs for supplier personnel
  • check_circleMonitor supplier performance-to-plan and report compliance status to supervisors and procurement agents
  • check_circleCommunicate across functions to report status and concerns regarding procurement and quality issues
  • check_circleParticipate in on-site supplier assessments to evaluate capacity and capability for current work
  • check_circleIdentify and communicate opportunities to implement new or improved business processes
